How do I start my asbestosis claim?
Can you prove that you were exposed to asbestos due to negligence (someone else's fault) and have subsequently now developed asbestosis? If you answer yes to this question then you could be entitled to make a compensation claim.
In order for your compensation claim to be successful we need to:
- know the names of the employer or company(s) who you believe exposed you to asbestos
- if the firm or employer is no longer trading we will need to try and find out who their insurers where when the alleged exposure took place
Our service to you means that we will complete the research for you and attempt to trace the appropriate insurers for you. We can do this by using our database of insurers and other resources available to us.
When we have identified the relevant insurers of the company(s) where you believe exposure to asbestos took place, we will then try and establish that the employer failed to ensure proper and adequate protection was given from harmful exposure. Generally, this is easier to do if significant exposure took place on or after 1960.
